Xi Jinping meets with heads of major international economic organizations

Humanity is a community with a shared destiny; countries are not riding in over 190 small boats but on a large vessel of shared fate. We should view each other's development as opportunities rather than challenges, consider each other as partners rather than rivals, and let "mutual assistance on the same globe," unity, collaboration, and mutual benefit become the main theme of the era. China is willing to work with major international economic organizations to practice multilateralism, promote international cooperation, support the development of countries in the Global South, advance a balanced and orderly world multipolarization, an inclusive and equitable economic globalization, and build a just world of common development.

The heads of the New Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization, namely Ms. Rostec, Ms. Georgieva, Mr. Anjali, and Mr. Iバラ, spoke on behalf of the international community. They highly praised China's economic development achievements, expressed optimism about China's future development prospects, and thanked China for its long-term support for international economic organizations. They stated that China's development achievements are globally recognized, especially in poverty reduction, where China has created a human miracle, and in new quality productivity, where China is at the world's leading level. This fully demonstrates that the people-centered development philosophy upheld by the Chinese government is successful and feasible, offering significant insights to the world. China has always been a crucial engine and stabilizer for global economic growth and a steadfast defender of multilateralism. China continues to comprehensively deepen reforms, expand openness to the outside world, and achieve high-quality development, providing enormous opportunities for the world, especially for the global South. The President's proposal to build the "Belt and Road" initiative and three global initiatives has fully demonstrated China's role as a responsible major country, providing an important platform for global South countries to catch the fast train of China's development and achieve their own development. In the current global economic situation, which faces many difficulties and challenges, with unilateralism and protectionism rampant, countries around the world look to China, hoping and believing that China will continue to play the most important role as an engine for global economic growth. Major international economic organizations are willing to work closely with China to uphold multilateralism, maintain free trade and economic globalization, contribute more to promoting the common development and prosperity of the world, and create a shared future for humanity.
